Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2025

1. Legal Identity

Ready2Drive Japan is operated by B. C. Ltd a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Registration No. 09305523), with its registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3. Our Service

We provide official translations of foreign driver’s licenses for use in Japan. Our translations are prepared based strictly on the information provided by the customer.

While our translations are generally accepted by Japanese police and licensing authorities when issued from approved countries, we do not guarantee acceptance in every individual case, as final approval remains at the discretion of Japanese authorities.

4. Eligibility

Our service is available only for licenses issued in countries approved under Japanese law. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that does not meet eligibility criteria or appears fraudulent.

5. Payments

All payments are securely processed by third-party payment providers including Stripe. You agree to pay the full price displayed at checkout. We do not store your credit card information.

We shall not be liable for payment processing failures or delays caused by third-party providers.

6. Delivery

Typical delivery time is 24–48 hours after payment confirmation and receipt of complete documentation. Delivery is made electronically via email.

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete documentation, technical issues, force majeure, or third-party systems.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel distance contracts.

By placing an order and requesting immediate performance of the service, you expressly agree that once the translation has been fully delivered, you lose your statutory right to cancel.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the personalised nature of translation services, refunds are not available once work has commenced or the translation has been delivered, except where required by law.

Refunds may be granted only where the service cannot be delivered or where a material error attributable solely to us is demonstrated. Requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment.

9. User Responsibilities

We shall not be liable for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic losses, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, administrative rejection, travel delays, or refusal by Japanese authorities.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical outages, governmental actions, natural disasters, or third-party system failures.

12. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The latest version published on this website shall apply immediately upon posting.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
